I bought this as a Christmas present for my tattoo artist cousin. I read the (mostly very positive) reviews but still didn't know if it would be a lame gift for someone that actually tattoos. Well he LOVED it! He called me to say he has some postcards with artwork done by this author but none of the books.. He said the book was a great read and a great reference.

Gifted to our tattoo artist friend, he loved it!

Eye opening into the culture of Russia and it's underground language of tattooing. In America, tattoos are seen as freedom of expression and the free-natured thought. In Russia, it's a rite of passage and one's personal history written on their bodies. The hand tattoos sysmbolize is the most interesting. Explains a lot about the tattoos seen in the movie "Eastern Promises."

I bought this book as a christmas gift for my Uncle. He has several Tattoo books (historical) and this one was a great addition. It is a 3 part series and Vollume 2 is extremely hard to find unless you buy at auction or 'used' for a couple of hundred dollars.Finding parts 1 and 3 for 20.00 was a steal! I'd reccomend this for anyones collection!

I ordered this for my significant other during Christmas. I thought it looked really cool ! I wasn't disappointed either. The book ( Vol.1) is very informative and the pics are fantastic. I like the book a lot and so does my sig. other. We will be ordering the other two books soon.

Awesome stories about things mere logic or science just can't explain. Maybe it's intuition or Divine intervention. But some things happen that our mortal brains just can't explain. I so enjoy these stories!

Have read previous Chicken Soup Books which I felt were written, and the content presented, in an interesting and appealing format. They always gave the reader a desire to continue following story after story. I felt this book had little appeal and was written by someone who had minimal experience in presenting a story. Was definitely disappointed in this read!

Amazing testimonies of how God can communicate to us through our dreams. I really loved reading these stories.

About the Author

Mubashir Husain Rehmani is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT), Wah Cantonment, Pakistan. He earned his PhD degree from Université of Pierre et Marie Curie (Sorbonne Universités), Paris, France, in 2011. Dr. Rehmani is an editor of IEEE Communications Surveys & Tutorials and an associate editor of IEEE Communications Magazine, IEEE Access, Journal of Network and Computer Applications (Elsevier) and Wireless Networks (Springer). He also is serving as a guest editor of Ad Hoc Networks (Elsevier), FGCS (Elsevier), IEEE Access, and Pervasive and Mobile Computing (Elsevier).

Al-Sakib Khan Pathan earned his PhD degree in computer engineering in 2009 from Kyung Hee University, South Korea, and his BSc degree in computer science and information technology from the Islamic University of Technology (IUT), Bangladesh, in 2003. He is currently a faculty member (at large) at the Faculty of Computer and Information Systems at Islamic University in Madinah, Madinah al-Munawwarah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and a visiting faculty at University of Asia Pacific, Bangladesh. A good book but "The Art of Power" was the best book ever written on T.J.

Well written and informative. Jefferson was a complex individual. His pursuit of freedom for America starkly contrasts with his ownership of slaves. My fascination with Jefferson began with a visit to Monticello. This book is one of three I've read on his life and times.

This was a gift for my little nephew who has promised to do a book report on this book when he is done. I will inform you when he is done. I read Meacham's adult book on Jefferson - wonderful!

Great book for school students (large print).

I've been doing extensive reading in the area of early American history and I have seem Jon Meacham sitting on various TV forums so I thought that his wisdom would be interesting. Unfortunately, what I found was a re-hash of most of the things I had already read about Jefferson. Nothing new and lots-and-lots of pictures. A middle school student would learn a lot but if you already read about the period you probably already know everything that Meacham was written.
