About the Author
"Few athletes have had lives as filled with variety as Earle E. Liederman. He began as a vaudeville strongman and in the mid-1920s became the undisputed king of the mail-order musclemen. After that he turned to radio broadcasting and then to journalism. Finally, in the 1940s Liederman came to California and, because of his seductive descriptions of sun, sand and sea, helped draw hundreds of bodybuilders to the West Coast. Despite his many accomplishments, the details of Liederman's biography are difficult to pin down because he was so reluctant to recount his personal life. Not even his birthdate is known for certain. Apparently, he was born around 1886 in Brooklyn, New York, to poor Swedish immigrant parents, graduated from high school in Jamaica, New York, and pursued a degree in physical education at the state normal school. Soon after earning his diploma, he was hired by the New York Board of Education as a physical culture specialist. ... While Liederman was working for the Board of Education, he was also trying his hand as a boxer. It took him only a short time to determine that he had little talent for the ring, however, so he switched to wrestling, which also proved not to be his strong suit. He was saved from further embarrassment in this effort by a talent scout from a vaudeville chain, who convinced the young man to try his hand at a strongman act. This was more to Earle's taste, and in 1910 he quit his job and embarked on a career as a professional athlete. Liederman was a savv marketer, and he knew how to tap into the public's worries and insecurities. The copy in one typical ad from 1924 compared a tiny body to a wart on the nose--but with one difference. "If you had a wart on your nose, you would worry yourself sick--you would pay most any price to get rid of it. . . . Wake up! Come to your senses! Everyone despises the weakling." Worrisome thoughts like these kept more and more customers clamoring for the course, and before long his ads were appearing in several magazines at once, often in lavish six-page spreads. Earle raked in a great deal of money with the mail-order business. One visitor to his posh New York headquarters reported that there were 60 secretaries ... pounding out advice and encouragement to the many correspondents. ... I have not read the book yet. But the Author is very insightful . I have purchased other books from this author he is truly amazing. I will always purchase from his auhor . His writing is relatable to real life situations but he also gives you the spiritual aspect of how you can and will enhance your relationships and walk with Christ. He refers you to scripture and that is what i really like about his books. If you are thinking about purchasing any of his books in my opinion you wont be disappointed.

I am a woman and I wanted to read this as so often women get all the guidance about being a great wife but never anything to a man. I thought this book was great and I agree 1000% that these are qualities women adore. I think the one think I've valued in past relationships is knowing that I'm on your mind so a good morning text is so exciting to receive. A call is even better because when you speak you command attention!

I love every minute of this book. Even though it's not written for me (a woman), I wanted to hear/read what Stephan sharing with the men since I enjoyed his book for women, God Where Is My Boaz? They are both awesome reads and great gift ideas!!

I chose the rating for this book to be 5 stars because I have been praying about how to pursue a wife and this book spoke and taught me how to pursue a wife. Its imperative to pursue God first and to find myself before pursuing a wife. In Matthew 6:33 it says "But first seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."

What else can I say, or expect from a Great Author! Pragmatic, Frank &Gentle!! I feel as if I'm a bit nosy, though considering the book is for "Men":) But being A Huge Fan, of the Boaz book, I felt Mr.Stephan has by my opinion Done a Fantastic Job, Ministering to our Men, and I honestly Pray, that our Men will grasp hold of this book, with out judgement and really be Open, to addressing any, issues within themselves if any, and be led spiritually or personally to at least reading This very Anointed, and Gifted book!! Awesome Coach & Author...

I thought I wouldn't like the book because it is preachy. I would have liked the author to include his own personal experiences versus his clients. It make it impersonal and distant. I don't find the content to be original because they're similar books. I do like an author who has a message and stays on point. It's also a simple and quick read. It's not offensive at all and it maybe too nice.

As a woman, I definitely agree with the book. It applies to both women and men. After reading this book and where is my boaz, I will definitely put both into practise and wait for my boaz, because I know he is coming!!!!Will recommend to my friends, both males and females. Never know who may need it.

This book has many key points for helping men to navigate their way though starting and maintaining a good relationship.
